Metaspins vs Roobet

These two brands are close enough in kind that the differences show up in specific fields rather than in overall posture. One publishes a checkable certificate; the other publishes more of the things a player touches on the way in and out.

Metaspins' clause 9.7 requires age verification and requires identity verification once gambling reaches a threshold the terms decline to specify. It also keeps the usual discretion to verify at any time, and permits accounts to be locked or withdrawals held until verification completes. Referring to a threshold without stating it is an odd halfway position: it tells a player a line exists but not where.

Roobet does not even do that much. Clause 4.9 permits documents to be requested at any time and deposits and withdrawals to be limited until the identification process is complete; clause 10.5 refuses withdrawals until identity is fully verified. Neither mentions a threshold, specified or otherwise. On the practical question of when the request arrives, both operators leave the reader guessing, with Metaspins at least acknowledging that a trigger exists.

Our Metaspins record cites clause 12.5 as the withdrawal-limits clause but carries no figure from it, which means the number has not been read rather than that no number exists. Roobet publishes no maximum withdrawal in anything read at all. Between an unread figure and an absent one there is little to choose, and neither should be presented to a reader as freedom from limits.

Roobet's charges are the one area where the comparison is one-sided in its favour. Clause 9.7 of Roobet's terms — coincidentally the same number Metaspins uses for verification — applies a 1% fee to all successful fiat deposits. Clause 10.8 applies 2% from the tenth fiat withdrawal in any rolling thirty-day period onwards. Clause 10.1 requires a deposit to be wagered before it can be withdrawn. We have read no fee schedule for Metaspins, so nothing can be set against these.
