The dates span eleven years. Cloudbet and Nitrobetting both give 2013, which makes them the oldest stated in the set. FortuneJack gives 2014 and Bitsler 2015.

Four brands cluster on 2018 — Rocketpot, Bspin, CoinPoker and Sportbet.one — which is the single most common year in the library. Wild.io gives 2022 and Rakebit 2024, the newest.

The table adds what else each of the ten publishes, because a founding year on its own is close to useless and a founding year alongside a live register status is not. Seven of the ten publish a register status word; three do not, and two of those three — Nitrobetting and Sportbet.one — sit at or near the bottom of the ranking for reasons unrelated to their age.

Thirty-one of the forty-one publish no founding year in anything read. Among them are most of the largest names in the set, including several that publish an otherwise complete licence record.

There is no obvious pattern to who does and does not. Wild.io publishes nine of the ten scored fields and includes a year; Bitcasino.io publishes almost as much and does not. Nitrobetting publishes a year and no licence line at all. Dating yourself is a habit rather than a signal of quality, and the table above is arranged so that it can be read alongside stronger fields rather than instead of them.

The honest description of those thirty-one rows is that the year was not published or not read, and that nothing follows from it. A brand without a stated year is not new, and a brand with one is not necessarily continuous.

It is the weakest field in this library and it is scored accordingly, at half a point out of ten against 1.5 for a register status and 1.5 for readable verification terms.

Three things a founding year does not tell you are worth naming. It does not tell you who owns the operator now — brands change hands, and the date of first trading survives the sale. It does not tell you whether the licence is the same one: four licence numbers in this set are each quoted by two different brands, which shows how loosely a licence and a brand are coupled. And it does not tell you whether the product is the same product, since a site can be rebuilt entirely behind an unchanged name.

What it does do is give the reader one more claim that can be tested against something else. An operator saying 2013 has made a statement that a domain record, an archive or a licence date can be set against. An operator saying nothing has made no statement at all, and cannot be caught out by one.

That is the whole case for the field, and it is why it is worth half a point rather than none.

Reading the stated years against the licence numbers beside them exposes something a single review would never surface: the two dates disagree constantly, and they are supposed to.

Cloudbet states 2013 and quotes OGL/2024/328/0599, a 2024-series Curaçao number. Bitsler states 2015 and quotes OGL/2024/930/0387. Bspin states 2018 and quotes ALSI-092404013-FI2, an Anjouan number whose middle segment carries a 2024 date. In each case a brand roughly a decade old holds paperwork issued within the last two years.

That is not a contradiction and it is not evidence of anything unusual. Licensing regimes are reissued, and the Curaçao regime in particular replaced its older master-and-sub-licence structure with the OGL series, so every brand that continued trading acquired a new number regardless of how long it had been running. An Anjouan number encodes when that licence was granted, not when the site opened.

The practical instruction is to read the two fields as answering different questions. The founding year answers how long the name has been in use, on the operator's own say-so. The licence number and its register status answer whether the current paperwork holds up, which is the question that matters on the day something goes wrong. Where the two conflict in a reader's mind, the second is the one worth weighting — and it is weighted three times as heavily in the ranking for exactly that reason.

Since Roobet publishes no year, any comparison of it against these ten has to be made on other ground. There is plenty of it.

On the cashier, Roobet's eleven coins put it in the middle of the twenty-two readable lists, well below Cloudbet's forty and well above Bspin's three. On the studio catalogue, its sixty-four names sit in the same middle band, against Wild.io's eighty and CryptoLeo's thirteen.

On verification, it publishes clauses 4.9 and 10.5 and no figure — which is the majority position, since only five of the forty-one publish a number. On withdrawal ceilings it publishes none, which is also the majority position at thirty-three of forty-one. On money it publishes three clauses the majority do not: 1% on fiat deposits at 9.7, 2% from the tenth fiat withdrawal in a rolling thirty days at 10.8, and a wagering requirement before withdrawal at 10.1.

And on the licence it publishes a number without a route to check it, where thirty-nine alternatives publish both. The date is the field Roobet is missing; the register link is the field that costs it most.
